Meet The Coaches

Coach Derek DeJoe, a Fairport HS All-American and Syracuse lacrosse standout, played in the 2013 NCAA Final and won ACC titles in 2015 and 2016.

Drafted to the MLL, he won a championship with the Ohio Machine in 2017.

Coach DeJoe was named head coach of Lake Travis Lacrosse in 2022, where he led them to a 2022 state title. Named 2024 US Lacrosse Class AA Coach of the Year, he now enters his fifth year as head coach. DeJoe lives in Lake Travis with his wife Alexa, works in real estate, and coaches club lacrosse for Mad Dog National and Austin Stangs.

Coach Wilkinson grew up in Austin, Texas, and attended Lake Travis High School. He went on to play collegiate lacrosse at Missouri Valley College, where he was a national runner-up and a two-time First Team All Conference selection. He later earned his Master's degree at Reinhardt University, where he became a tow-time national champion, two-time Academic All-America and First Team All conference honoree. Over the course of his collage career, Wilkinson scored 225 points and helped lead his teams to an impressive 60 - 5 overall record.

Coach Wilkinson has coached at Lake Travis Lacrosse since 2022.
